Q: Period?

I just got home from class and I had brown stuff in my panties (TMI I know) and I've started a few periods with the brown stuff, and it looks very similar to that. The thing is I just started BC, and I still have two of the hormone pills left before I'm supposed to get my period. But,.. it looks like I've started. The thing is, I had unprotected sex yesterday, and I don't think I'm pregnant or anything, but could that have triggered an early period or anything? I don't know. I'm not really worried. It's just strange and Im not really sure what to do.. do I just finish the pack like regular and start the new one when I run out of pills (its got the 7 placebo pills)

Yes, continue to take them as directed. Since you started bc, it can take you body a few months to get used to them. If you are still having this problem 3-4 months from starting them, then talk to your doctor. Sometimes, they are just not "strong enough" to keep you regulated.

the thing is, it's been almost 24 hours and it hasn't gotten heavier flow. I mean granted it's morning so if it's going to pick up, it'll be later today. But I've read that women can be pregnant and still get one last 'period' but it's not really a period. Should I be concerned or is it probably just a really abnormally light period. It's so light that I could honestly wear panty liners and be fine.

Chances Are
chances are you are not pregnant. You should still take your pills and if your period doesn't come test again in about a week. Because the test you took may have been to early. But i wouldn't be too worried. Best of luck.
