Q: My Smart Boy!

i fell asleep while finn was napping this morning and i heard him wake up but i wasn't ready to get up yet so i just left him. after a while he started fussing so i went to put him on his back under his mobile with a binky so i could get a little more sleep. before my nap i'd checked on him and he was on his stomach and he'd lost his binky, when i went in he was on his back with a binky and the mobile was on!

i'm sure he hit the mobile button by accident but it would be a very convenient trick for him to pick up.

i'm sooo tired today.

Re: My Smart Boy!
i just realized i probably sound incredibly lazy and neglectful leaving finn in his crib to entertain himself while i sleep. just to clarify, i'm not in a dead sleep while he's awake, i was dozing and trying to get going and i could hear him babbling to himself.

this thought entered my mind. when finn woke me up i could barely keep my eyes open. i left him playing in his crib and then when he started to fuss i brought him to my bed to play because i just could not function.

i don't know what's going on with me. 3 more weeks until my period is supposed to show, i'll test again if it doesn't.

no its perfectly fine with me thats what i did with macy a few times when i was pregnant with liam...

im tired too i scratched my eye this morning so it was hard to keep open so i had to lay down and then i didnt want to get up at all.

sometimes when i was working on saturdays steven would take the kids in liams room and let them play while he slept on the floor

That's exactly what popped into my mind when .bridget mentioned being so tired.

I don't see anything wrong with leaving .finn in his crib after he wakes up. I think babies need their time alone too. Adriana almost never cries when she wakes up, she'll stay in there and play. I still leave her in there to play once she wakes up. I think that also teaches them to self soothe. And I bet it won't be long until .finn turns his mobil on by himself!! He's such a smart little man!
