Q: Pink Eye

Hi.
I've been sick all last week with a fever, sore throat, aching body and headaches. A few days in I noticed my left eye was slightly red. So, I rinsed it out with warm water and after a short time it went away. However, after that I kept waking up with my eyes sealed with mucus and crusties on my eyelashes and around my eyes. Now it has gotten worse and when I wake up I can't open my eyes for a few minutes until I get a warm cloth on them.and both my eyes are severely red/pink. I know I have pink eye and I went to the pharmacy last night and the pharmacist gave me some drops but today I am going to the walk in for actual medicine. I am in so much pain and discomfort because now both my eyes have it and I was wondering if anyone could give me any help on how to relieve some of the discomfort because it hurts and burns and it's so difficult to sleep at night.
Any help is really appreciated.

ok.I don't know why, but here in the U.S. is so common to have pink eye. I never saw in my life so many people having pink eye. In my country only kids have that.I think airconditioning plays a big role in this also... weird anyway...
Idea

Answering your question:
get some camomille flowers and cook them in water for a short time. Let the water cool down a little and when it got warm already, wash both of your eyes with this liquid. It sanitize it and going to help you to get better soon. You can buy these flowers in any organic stores for sure. Wash your eyes at least 2-3 times daily with this liquid. Make only a few and then make fresh one for the next time!Just in case..if you won't find these flowers,buy camomille tea and do the same with that. the flowers are better, but I am sure the tea would help you a little also. But deffenetly try the flowers first!!! Rolling Eyes
