Q: Anesthesia And Marijuana

I was wondering if there are any reactions between a general Anesthesia and marijuana. I am having my wisdom teeth surgically removed this wednesday and I smoked some pot Saturday night. The nurse I talked to mentioned something about it but I kinda forgot and smoked pot Saturday night. I don't smoke pot often at all. Maybe like 2-3 times a month. So will this be a problem?

Not to sure but i would just make sure the dentist knows so they can take that into consideration when operating.

Good Luck

anesthesia
No problems with anesthesia. If used acutely you may even have a decreased chance of nausea and/or vomiting post-op. The only downside is that you may be a bit slower to wake up and your oxygen exchange may be decreased similar to cigarettes.
