You have to love who you are doesn't mean masturbation. We are not one anothers possessions. I take my vows of marriage strongly. I would never do anything to jeopardize what my husband of 31 years has. We have had many trials and tribulations in our marriage that has made us love one another more and has strengtened our deep love of jesus christ as savior. It is people who take advantage of others lightly and use sex as a way to get to know someone that ruins what love really means.

You can love yourself without masturbating. And if people "forgot about themselves" and did whatever to make the other person happy do you really think that would make the world a better place? And from experience, you do have to love yourself before you can fully love someone else. If you do not have enough strength to figure out what it is that you want from your own life, then you cannot make someone else happy. When a person is miserable, they spread misery. Now, I am not saying to be conceited or think they are above anyone or anything else, but you do have to have self respect.

yes man was created first. Woman was created second to keep the man company. That does not mean that one is stronger or more important. Nor does it mean that a woman should stay at home, breed, cook, clean and raise kids. We were all put here by god and are being tested. But, I am sure that my lord and savior is never ever going to look at me as a male or a female. I am one of his children, it really does not matter which sex organs I have.

You are only right about one thing: the war of the sexes is useless. But how can you say that and then state what you think a man and a womans "place" is? Yes, relationships these days rarely ever last, but that has a lot to do with the fact that men are still trying to hold women back. Men have even sunk as low as to order brides through the mail. One who does not speak english, or was raised to think that the only reason she is here is to serve him. You see, more and more women are finding their self worth, and when we all do, I don't know what men like you will do.
Bottom line, if women were the "weaker, delicate flower sex" then god would not have made some of us so intelligent. People are either smart or stupid. Men and women. Some are smart, some are dumb as doornails, but neither has anything to do with their sex.
Yes people do need to love each other more. We do need to stop being so selfish, but it will do not one any good if we do not take time to care about ourselves. I really do not think god has a problem with us caring for, loving, and appreciating how he made each and every one of us.
And not ever women is trying to be the "guy's boss." what about the men who want to be the "women's boss?" that is the problem...No one is anyone's boss! And it does not matter who "wears the pants" or who works or who cleans. As long as everything is divided equally and each is happy, who gives a hoot? Many people were a whole lot happier when everyone just accepted things the way that they were. Now people are trying to blame the fact that so many marriages are ending in divorce on the fact that women are becoming educated and working outside of the home. Well this could very well be true. But married or divorced, or single, who cares as long as the person is happy? Just because their are more divorces doesn't mean that things are falling apart. It is just that more women are leaving abusive relationships. (mental and physical) and others are just not in such a hurry to get married. Instead of people just jumping into things (men and women alike) we are educated enough to try to wait until we find the right person. Any two people can get married. But it takes two very special people to have a satisfying marriage. There has to be compromise from both parties involved.
I am not trying to sound ignorant, but I really do not see how you can state that the war of the sexes is pointless and then state everyones "place" it is just not right.
