i had mono first four years ago.

i was just diagnosed with mono again currently, and when i went to my doctor, he made it sound like getting mono twice in ur life is rare, but it can happen, and it's nothing to worry about.

however, after researching around online, i see that recurring episodes of mono are often related to autoimmune disorders and some forms of cancer. is this anything i should be concerned about and/or should i press my doctor to do further blood work?
