Well, tommorow Eli will be 3 weeks old. I cant believe it but at the same time I feel like I have had him forever.

He weighs like 10 lbs now and has grown 1/2 inch.
He is so strong, already turning himself over in his crib and trying to lift his head and hold it.

My stretch marks look awful, I am never wearing a bathing suite or shorts again, I have more than I thought I did. I am going to have to do some exercising to get this flabby skin off my tummy, I feel horrible about it. Eww

They are really red and brown looking, is there anything I can put on them to make them fade better?

I wanna see some pics of .eli!!!

Don't worry about the stretchies, I got em bad too. And it's been year and they're white. the skin's still there, but the stretchies are fading everyday.

I put suave vit e, with collagen. I put it on as soon as I step out of the shower. And I don't put clothes on till It's completely soaked in. yes, I walk around nakie!! Shocked Laughing

I had to literally *scrub* mine off!!! That, and the linea negra!! Grrr!!

When I was preggy, people were like "why is your b button brown/black?! and why do you have that black line going down your whole stomach?!"

Oni was like 4 months when it alll came off. horrible!

Could someone tell me again how to post pics on here? I have some pictures of Eli but I forgot how to post them?

This postpartum stuff sucks! I was hoping I wouldn't get the blues but I did! I have felt so bad about my body since I have had him and felt so overwelmed. I love being a mommy but it keeps me so stressed for some reason.

I have a question and it might sound stupid but what do you do with a baby when they don't wanna sleep or be put in their swing? I can't hold him all the time b/c I would never get anything done and I don't want him to get so spoiled that he won't lay down?

you can't spoil a newborn, so don't worry about that. i guess the only thing you *can* do is hold him! do you live with anyone that would help you out by taking him off your hands for a while?

Here's a sticky that explains how to post pictures: http://pregnancy.ehealthforum.com/health/t opic80524.html

.newborns like to be held close. It makes them feel warm and safe, like they were in the womb. This world is new and scary for a tiny baby. One thing you can try doing is swaddling him when you put him down for naps. Just make sure he isn't too warm - one receiving blanket should be fine for your weather.

My daughter is one of those "needs to be held" babies. I get very little done. I just make my husband do it when he comes home from work. Twisted Evil Wink
