Q: Ovulation Pain?

I was curious as to how many of you get ovulation pain? And how long it normally lasts?

I have a history of ovarian cysts. I began having some sharp pains in my lower left side. I know for a fact that it is my ovary. I am trying not to worry. I want to think that it is ovulation pains and not another cyst. I'm just kinda looking for some encouragement.

What about emotional. Do you get uber emotional when you ovulate?

That's funny that you ask that, because I was just wondering that myself. I posted earlier that I have been extremely emotional and crying at the drop of a dime. It drives me crazy, because I am constantly "fixing" my makeup.

As far as the cramps go, I get them. I have noticed them a lot more in the past few months and this month, they have been worse than normal. just sitting here, I keep getting random cramping going back between both sides. I am on cd18 and fertility friend said I ovulated on April 9th which would be cd14. I thought this was weird because I usually only have a 26 day cycle and I usually ovulate earlier than that. Now I guess that means that I have a shorter lutal (sp???) phase.

Who knows????

when my periods were regular I used to get ovulations pains "mittlesmerch" the day before or the day of ovulation.

since they've gone all screwy I don't get any pains that I can pinpoint (but then I do get a lot of random cramps so who knows lol) but I turn into "scary dragon lady" right around when I believe I'm ovulating.

I turn into a complete b*tch - never really had pms or the like but oh boy when I ovulate it's not nice lol

**edit to add**
my ovulation "mood" seems to last for about 4/5 days Evil or Very Mad

Same Thing...well Kinda.
I have also been getting the pain in my lower left, but mine is mostly during intercourse and it was happening right around ovulation time. Crying or Very sad I am still waiting to test because I just ovulated last week. I tested early and it came back - but fingers crossed it was just cause I tested early.
