Q: Faking It??

I was just wondering what all of your opinions of faking an orgasm are- the pressure women feel to orgasm for their partner and if they'll fake it for them- I know I have before (sometimes just to get it over with) but now that I am in a serious and loving relationship I don't- if I'm not into it then he just has to try harder Twisted Evil

Do you fake it? Why?

You need the option of

"Sometimes; so he'll just finish and get it over with!"

Heh... for me, I somestimes have a very powerful and extremely unsexy, uncomfortable desire to pee during sex. I know that this is due to g-spot stimulation, but it's just so uncomfortable that I can't enjoy sex. I'm also terrified to "let go" in terror that I might actually just pee all over the place! I'd like to have a plastic bed haha XD

I have never faked it. I think it is an awful thing to do. For starters, it's dishonest, and it just doesn't seem like something to lie about in my opinion. Women often don't have orgasms every single time. That's normal, so I see no reason to lie and pretend I did. If I don't have one or can just tell that I won't have one that night, I'll just admit it. I would hate to be in a relationship where I felt the need to lie about things that insignificant.

I also think it is a bad idea because it can give the man the impression that he is doing something right when he isn't. I have heard of far too many women faking it only to regret it later because their partner kept doing whatever it was that he was doing that wasn't actually working for her.

I think it is important to be honest with your partner, whether it is a committed relationship, a one night stand, or anything in between. I cannot imagine having sex with someone that I could not even be honest about little things like that with.

Have you ever let go? I'm not a woman, but I've heard women say that's what it felt like before they let go and found out that they were "squirters." If I were your partner I'd want to give a try and just have you let go. Even if it turns out you just pee'd on me, it was worth a try. That is to say, if the reason it's uncomfortable is because you're trying to hold it back.

I like Llewellyn's answer, though. For your sake you don't want to train your man the wrong way.

But really, if you want to get it over with or are not enjoying it, go ahead and tell me to finish up. I was probably holding out just for your sake anyway, could have been done long ago if I knew. It's nice to please your woman, but if she's just not able or willing that night, that's ok. It might be a blow to some guys' egos, but that's probably because instead of telling us, you faked it. So we walk around, chin up, proud as a papa, "Yeah, my woman gets hers everytime." And if it's because you're just not currently enjoying it, maybe we can find something you do enjoy.

Honesty is the way to go, but I understand you not wanting to be. You need to find a way to say it for your particular situation and man. Probably best to talk about it before hand, as opposed to just dropping it on him one night during sex. Especially, if you have been faking it. Being dishonest could lead to resentment (not so much in Eiri's situation, but if you're faking it because he's taking too long, or not doing it right)and we'll have no clue why you're even mad. That happens enough as it is. You can't hold all your little pet peeves and resentment in, and then blast it at us one day.

Edit: What is with words being un-capitalized on this forum?

Shocked Wait....you get that feeling from g-spot stimulation? I never knew that. I just thought it was me. Glad to know there isn't something wrong!

To answer the question. No I have never and will never fake it. I have never orgasmed through penatration. Only through exterior clitoral stimulation. However, that may be because I too get the feeling that i need to pee and that totaly takes me out of the mood trying to make sure I don't pee. Laughing

eiri you get this feeling even if you go pee before you have sex? Cause your bladder will be empty so for certain you won't pee if you'let go'. If you do then it wouldn't be pee but just female ejaculation, meaning like you are a squirter. Don't you think?

Oh I know... my boyfriend is so supportive about it; he wants me to try! Maybe if I can get us in the bathtub... I'd love to discover I'm a squirter; it sure as hell feels like I've got a ton of pressure in there!!

Yeah. I don't normally fake it; I like orgasming for real!

I have and will never fake it becuase all it does is tell the guy that i am with that i can be easily satisfied. This is not true. I am a very sexual person; i have to get mine or i am very unhappy...unless i am just rrying to satisfy my man. then whatever, but no!!!

I see what you guys mean- That's one of the reasons I don't fake it anymore- Now that I'm in a committed relationship I don't want him continuing to do things that aren't working, and he is open to finding out what does work. But sometimes, it's just not gonna happen, and he looks like a sad puppy when he can't please me Crying or Very sad

So I completely understand why people do. And I can't promise that I won't ever do it again!

your bf needs to understand not all the time you are gonna have it. That is a fact. Overtime he will understand it.

I agree. It's not like you're abnormal or he's doing something wrong just because you don't have one every time. I would suggest being honest. If he does not know that women don't have them every time, and that most women don't even have them during sex at all, maybe he just needs a little sex education. I don't think lying for the sake of stroking his ego is the answer.

Thanks. I've found you to be quite a special lady, too. Did that sentence make it sound like I called myself a lady?

Anyway, no lucky gal right now, but hopefully someday.

never. what is the point? totally agree with people, it would give the guy the wrong impression and lead him to believe he's doing something that's really making you tick when he isn't. if you're with a guy and he's not pressing your buttons then if you're honest about it, the two of you can work to find out what you do enjoy.

i'm in a relationship. once in a while, for whatever reason (distraction, overstimulation, etc) i won't be able to orgasm through sex or oral. i just tell him "sorry, i don't think i can this time". it's not cos he's doing anything wrong, but occasionally it just doesn't happen. and i'm honest about it. he respects this. he knows i'm a truthful person. he knows that when i come, i really do come. lol. it would be dishonest and insulting to lie to him about it. the only thing it could do is bring a wedge between two people.
