I want to make sure I have covered all my
bases regarding testing for a serious
condition... I am lightheaded all the time
(6 months now), have problems going and
staying asleep, ear(s) ringing, and
occasional sensations around face and
scalp.. SO far I have had blood tests,
head and sinus MRI, ENG and the docs have
diagnosed labrynthitis or symptoms
consistent with that. I don't necessarily
agree and this has not gone away. What
other testing can I do for some peace of
mind and to reduce my anxiety? I have not
met with a neurologist yet, but have an
appointment scheduled. Help, please

Just wanted to let you know I have been
going through the same thing. Ears
ringing, dizziness, tingling face and
hands.. for about a yr now. I have been
to a neuro and numerous doctors. I had an
nerve conduction test, ct on my brain, and
blood tests. Everything came back fine.
I have concluded it to be stress( I have
been really stressed out lately) and I
also have TMJ and scoliosis too. Hope you
get better.. try not to worry too much.

I hope you both get to the bottom of
things. Personally my neurologist has been
a life saver. Many nerves run through out
your entire face and neck so it could
easily be nerves.
Have either of you seen an ear/nose/throat
specialist?
Yes, I have seen an ENT.... He set up the
ENG testing and said the results were
consistent with his diagnosis. My
frustrations continue to mount and I get
quite anxious about it but have decided to
seek alternative methods to find
relief.... This week I started going to an
acupunturist and a chiropractor.... maybe
they can help... I have had one session
with each and look forward to more. At
least they are looking for answers and not
so definitive with the "this is it, live
with it" philosophy the western Drs are...
Thanks for you good wishes - By the
way.. I just returned from the
chiropractor and do feel some relief...
not as dizzy, neck less tense.. cross your
fingers..
