Please advise pertaning to my situation

i also wrote down here my doctor's inspection and his suggeted treatment as well as the progress of sympton

use feel nervous and being panic very regular. However the most disturbing sympton caused comes from my heart as the panic makes my blood pressure were getting very high.

Recently, I came to see a doctor and he advised me to go on a diet of salty food as the medical checkup revealed no physical evidence to connect to any disease. However, my blood pressure was still very high nomatter how long I try to rest, I could not pass the blood pressure measurement test

i did try as the doctor's suggestion but somehow the diet made me more drowsy and less active as I also feel lacking of energy in all of the work. I even feel that my blood pressure went down a lot slower than normal but the situation was always reversed when the clinicican measure my bp. Beside that, my body was also usually being shaked without controling when making normal interation with strangers, it was not just common nerve but also the overwhelming fear of unknown factor

may I ask what disease I am currently suffering?

Another problem involves in the reading of digital blood pressure monitor device ( I bought the model omron m2). I want to ask how to read the index on it as the doctor ussually takes the first heard stroke of blood pressure as the systolic index and the last hearing as the diastolic. However, my digital one seems to work so different although I saw the number start to flash from 140 or more when deinflating, its final result indicated my bp in the normal range (i measured at home by myself) 110 for systolic and 67 for diastolic

so I would like to know the exact method to read the index on the digital monitor?
Will it be less accurate than the mercury based one?
Why my bp stared to flash from 140 but the final result depicted the systolic as 110 instead of 140?
What is the highest pulse of a male adult ? What is the optimal value for it?
Thanks for your kind attention

Sounds like you are dealing with al lot of Anxiety over your blood pressure. I have gone through some of the systoms you have. First of all worring about your blood pressure can bring it up. I have white coat systoms. everytime I have to get my blood pressure taken by a Doctor it is sky high. When I take it at home it is fine. It sounds like your monitor is working ok. I'm not sure why it is flashing like you say, but the end number seem ok. I would continue to take your blood pressure. Take it different times of the day. Wite them down. If they are high you need to tell your Doctor. Drink LOTS of water. Water flushes out the kidneys. And will help with your salt in take. But, to much salt brings up the blood pressure. Try to cut back.
Good Luck

Thanks
Yup! i cut off more than expected the salt intake. I said so because everyday I only eat one meal and stricly prohibit any dish may potentially contain salt. However, the side effect caused me to be less energetic and tired due to hungry feeling.

My concern is that why the first flashing number is not as low as 120 but was 140. More freakly as the result used the different number to plugin my BL index. i thought a lot but still can not figure out the method that this BP digital is using as it sounds very strange comparing to the mercury based one( unfortunatly, my doctor prefers mercury based so I could not use the record measured by digital one to convince him on my situation). is there anyone know the algorithm being implemented in the OMRON M2 BP digital monitor?

Mike,
I think I would call the place that makes you monitor. That would be the best place to find out how it works. Even if you reading is 140 and not 120. 140 isa litlle high and you should be somewhat concerned. But it is nothing to get to upset about. I think just less salt might bring it down.

You eating habits can have a direct effect on your blood pressure. When you body goes to long without eating your bp can raise. Why?...I have no idea. I suggest you try eating a few small well balanced meals troughout the day. I'm pretty sure it will have a positive influence on your bp.
