High Blood Pressure and Hypertension Forum

Hi all,
i was on 25mg atenolol for 2 months, saw a drop in my bp from 158/90 to 140/80. Now on 50mg atenolol, been on it for 1 month with a repeat prescription for 2 more months. My readings have not improved at all in the last month since my meds were increased.

Due you think I should leave it 2 more months until my repeat prescription runs out before seeing the doc, or should I make an appointment now and ask for a change in meds because these aren't that effective.
