Q: Foreskin Problems

Hello,

Lately I have been having some problems with the foreskin of my penis. I am an uncircumcised male and I am 19 years old. In the past I havent had many issues with penis but was never unable to retract the foreskin. I understand now that I have phimosis. I am unable to pull the foreskin back nearly at all, and their is a penile adhesion in a few spots around the top of my penis. The other night I went to the hospital because I was worried when my penis foreskin began to tighten a little more then usual. It is not really painful, but when i push around the sides of my penis near the top it is very sore. I am worried that it is going to have disaterous effects eventually and I set up an appointment with a urologist for a week from now. Im not sure what I should do right now though, should i just not touch my penis at all for a week? Or should i continue to apply ointments and pull back the skin slightly? I am worried about what I should do, thank you.

Please get back to me,
thanks.

You need to be circumcised. Don't be afraid of that. It is the only way to get rid of a stricture permanently. You will be sleeping through out. There will be some discomfort for a few days. But healing takes place shortly.
