Hi i'm 15 and i hav been havin chest pain
in my central left chest area, my voice
has gone rough and i'm coughing(not alot
but more than usal) is there anything
majorly wrong wit me that would mean i'm
terminal? thanks

No I dont think you are going to die. I
think you should go to the doctors though.
You may have an upper resportary infection
or something. This happens to me once a
year around this time. When the weather
starts changing everyone starts getting
sick.
They will check you out at the doctors and
see if it is an uri or something.

When was the last time you had a physical?
Do you have a family history of cancer? I
really think you are afraid and need some
reassurance. Can you not talk to you
parents and see a physican? Just for peace
of mind on you behalf?

Thanks, it has just turned winter here in
New Zealand and no i don't think my family
has a history of cancer. I've had 1 smoke
before but that was a rollie and i HATED
it! My parents have been smoking all my
life could that contribute?
sometimes there is the feeling of like
when u get stomach rumbles when hungry
just at the bottom of my chest ive had
these for years tho so i dunno

Have you talked to your folks about going
ot see a physican? The rumbling and pain
could very well be an intestinal problem.
Like an ulcer or gastritis. Does your
sotmach growl/rumble? Do your parents
smoke in the house? I presume they have
always smoked? If this be the case, you
could have very well inherited asthma or
something, you have been exposed to 2nd
hand smoke you whole life. I do not know
your situation, but I do know you have
come here asking questions and looking for
answers.....so I would say you need to see
a physican and be checked to ensure you
are ok.

well i can't get to the pysician til
monday =( but yes my stomach rumbles quite
a bit recently and yes they smoke in the
house but when i was 5 yrs old i had
asthma but a couple yrs later they said i
had grown out of it.
Also i feel slightly sick, like a
background sypmtom is as good as i can say
it.

It sounds like a type of stomach ulcer.
Nausea or dull ache.....Not a physican,
can only guess tamate. WIsh you all the
luck in te world!

xray 2 mrw but chest pain iis still there
and my cough is worse. i don't feel sick
anymore but the chest pain seems moreso to
my left lung although it does move around
like. it's an on off type of pain. any
other ideas wat this cud b.
Btw it started 2 months ago likeas an all
over chest ache and now it's just a pain
which comes and goes i'd say 15 mins
between each pain time
P.S i'm still scared
