I Think I Maybe Schizophrenic?
Posted: 04-11-07 16:44pm

Hi all,
I think i maybe a little Schizophrenic? I say this as i don't have all the symptoms just one really. Tactile?

Ever since i was little i've had the constant feeling of being touched but its more mental like:

say someone touches you on the leg you mentally remember that feeling right? so lets take that mental feeling and make it into a mental person and that mental memory person touches you without the person who originally did so you feel the memory of the original touch again.
Sorry i really am finding it hard to explain it

welll i feel that mental feeling all the time as if someone is around and constanly touching me around my shoulders/neck/head and ear areas but not a clear just happend memory Confused and it seems to be worst when i'm down? I know this probably sounds blahhhhh but if its not Schizophrenia, then what other mental heath issue could it be?

please help i can't take it. thanks

hello stacey1

your symptoms sound like your under psychic attack, but dont take my word for it, talk to healers or holistic counselors...

normal doctors would call you a quack and give you meds, but i would go to them just incase.....

you mite as well expand your awareness to professional advice....

try a madalion too.....

Best of luck.....

to be classed as having schizophrenia doctors usually go off having more than 3 symptoms of it. Oddly enough what your thinking of is a common thing, alot of people can recall how things feel and "feel" them. It's not in anyway schizophrenia I can tell you that much, if anything I don't think it's anything to worry about.
If it really concerns you, make an app with your doctor you could at the very most just be having some sensory problems but they're of no real threat by the sound of it.

A good doctor would never call you a quack. And what is wrong with meds if they help??

Anyway, it seems that you wouldn't be diagnosed with schizophrenia if that is your only symptom. If it really is bothering you, see a psychologist. There are other things that could possibly cause that, like brain trauma or chemical abuse or just something weird happening in your brain. I would seek a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Hi Stacy,

Hang in there! Your other posts are certainly worth considering, especially being evaluated by a professional.

Mental disorders can be difficult for even professionals to accurately tag. I do believe that there is always an underlying physical cause that leads to it though. That would be considered the root cause, and is likely biochemical. Having said this science has not evolved to the point of identifing the root causes yet, at best they are still playing with neurotransmitters. Meds are a God send to many people, and potentially dangerous to others. If you start on meds research the side-effects yourself to be familiar with them, Docs are a little to relaxed in educating their patients.

There are two Clinics that do some interesting research and treatment with regards to biochemical anomalies of patients. To their credits they buck traditional medicine even though they are highly trained Medical Doctors and have given many a patient their lives back. If you are interested in pursuing that path email and I'll give you the information.

I do believe in God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. Therefore I also believe there is an enemy (devil). I have no idea where you stand on this but my other suggestion is to find a born again (somebody who has prayed and asked Jesus into their life, not just some one who believes in Jesus) Paster to pray with and for you. Prayer can be both protective and healing, find a strong Prayer warrior to help you - trust your heart!

Good luck, and God bless!

........do not go on drugs unless ABSOLUTELY NESSESARY! as they ONLY stop symptoms, in some cases make it worse and do not cure you. seek a therapist or psychologist
