From what i've read it takes the average couple up to a year to conceive so your not abnormal hun it's just not your time yet

Hey there, I am have been off of bc for 2 months and I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. I was surprised to get pregnant that fast. What I think worked for me was that my dh and I had sex when I had a lot of clear, slippery cervical mucous. That may sound like that was way too much info but I read alot about it and i made sure to keep track of the different types of mucous that you have during your cycle and I conceived when most abundant and kind of egg whitish. Sorry I know that's gross.

A person in my family tried to get pregnant and her doctor told her two things she can do along with the right time of the month to concieve:

1. When you have sex, have it either man on top or doggie style with your buttin the air and your head down to where you are at an angle.

2. After the sex, stay laid down with a pillow or blanket under your hips to keep yourself elevated.

When you have that clear, slippery mucous its a sign that you are going to ovulate soon or that you are ovulating that same day. But it is definitely something to look for when ttc. There is a lot of info on the net about it so you should read up on it.
