i have been on YAZ for 4 months, this month i didnt get my period on the first white pill and i am now 3 days late. i took a pregnancy test and the test turned out negative. is it possible that my period could stop because i am taking yaz? i've always had a light and short period even before taking yaz. please post back with any ideas or information. thank you.

Most women do not start a period on the very first 'placebo' pill anyway... BUT.

Many women will lose their periods on the super low dose pills like yaz, mainly because of the shortened placebo week.

If you are not pregnant, than this is okay.
