I had my last AF on March 12, and I am on a regular 28 day cycle. So I should've started AF on April 8, or 9, but I haven't yet. I am not on any BC, and I am trying to get pregnant! I had sex on March 29, and I think I was Ovulating, because I had watery CM. But sadly I have taken HPT yesterday morning and this morning and got BFN. Do you think I have tested too early, I have heard of this happening. Any advice would be great, and please send some baby dust my way!!!! Wink

watery cm isn't fertile cm.
you want the egg white like cm. oh and you really need to have sex before your ovulation Wink
if you carefully read the leaflet in the test box it will tell you exactly how and when to test.
(typically this means fromt he first day that you miss your period and with first morning urine)

It is best to wait a few days between hpts. This gives your hormones a chance to change between tests. Aside from this, the question of exactly how long has both economic and emotional components.

Can you afford to take an hpt every day? The less you can afford the hpt, the longer you should wait between testing.

Which is harder for you emotionally - the wait or a bfn? If you have a big emotional reaction to a bfn, then wait longer. But if the wait puts you in a worse emotional state, then test sooner.

It's very unlikely to get a false positive. It's more likely Renee that you had a chemical pregnancy in which the egg did not attach fully or there were problems with the egg and you just started bleeding. Also, if you read the test after ten minutes it could have been an evaporation line.
