I was given folic acid pills to take for the first trimester. Have a word with your doctor, every docotr says a different thing but vitimins at the right dose can prove very helpfull but they're not a neccessity

Im pregnant and i take pre-natal vitamins. I eat healthily but it makes me feel better to know, by taking them also, i am getting all my vitamins. They also contain the sufficient amount of folic acid. Thats just me personally, I think you should ask your doctor. All the best!
