Hi i've had a painful, slightly swollen wrist for about 2 months now. i can move it gently without much pain, but certain movements are quite painfull. if i've used my wrist often during the day, i get a dull cramp like pain from my wrist to my elbow at night. i also can't pick up anything too heavy or it pains and i loose strength. i've seen a doctor who's sent me for x-rays and blood tests carpal tunnel has been ruled out. help!

Sorry to hear about your pain. I am not a doctor but I can relate to your pain. I too have a bad wrist with a ton of other things going on in my body. I had my first nerve conduction for carpal tunnel and it came out negative. I switched doctors and went to a surgen specializing in hand and arm ortho. Without doing a nerve conduction, he said I do have carpel tunnel with tendonitis. It get so bad it wakes me up at night. I have been going to a phyical therapist 2x's per week and I wear a split which seems to help. Go to your pharmacy and but a wrist guard and try that for a while. AND if you are not getting answers from your doctor, go to a new one. I have had horrible experiences with doctors, telling me that things are "in my head". Good luck and get well.

sorry to hear that. I can kinda understand your pain, I used to skate and I'd get minor injuries that would consist of swollen sore joints...even up to severe sprains.
My mother is starting to lose control of her joints as she works on and gets older. One thing she uses that keeps her going is this juice like soda that enchances joints; I don't know full in depth description. It's call Joint Juice. I cosider checking it out for anyone suffering with arthritis.

hope maybe this helps.
