I was the one that just posted a "ask the doctor" post.. but for some weird reason the URL link added Capitals to some letters in the link. EVERY letter has to be lowercase in that link, or else it will not work.

I am reposting the question and images here.

original post --

could you please tell me if you think this is skin cancer or not? I know you guys arent doctors or whatever. I'd just like a basic opinion. My skin doctor appointment is on april 20th. I need immediate response. I didnt see an area here to upload images of my rash. So I uploaded it to one of my sites I rarely use. This used to be a birth mark that was much lighter in color. Its now darker but still the circumference is less then that of a pencil eraser.

This is the normal view -

and this is the zoomed in view -

please be sure to look atleast at the zoomed in view. Its scaring the heck out of me.

Immediate response would be much appreciated.
Thanks
mb

Hi
Just found your question! If you were born with this and it has not changed in size, color or shape, you should be good. If this really worries you, see a dermotologist. I have had so many "common moles' precancerous lesions and melanoma removed its not funny. To me, not being a certified physican, this does not look like skin cancer. From your photos, it looks like a mole/sun spot. My mole just appeared from out of nowhere and it was black , the size of a deer tick. This is not itching or bothering you other than you are worried a bit? Peace of mind, go to a dermotologist, I go once a year for a body check! Hope htis has helped some!
