In January of 2007, was diagnosed with enlarged uterus and complex ovarian mass in right ovary (4.4 cm). Endometrial biopsy showed endocervical fragments with micrograndular hyperplasia and mature and immature squamous metaplasia. Have not had period in over 8 months although I do suffer from severe depression & hopelessness, extreme fatigue, irritability, bloating, difficulty concentrating, excessive sleeping, food cravings/increased appetite for 5-7 days each month. Have needed 6 transfusions since January (iron defiency anemia) with no known cause.
What could be causing these issues?

if i was you i'd go straight to your doctor and get them to refer you for test as low iron levels could mean your bleeding from somewhere, i'm very surprised they haven't done test to try and find out whats going wrong. i have low iron levels too but i'm lucky medication is maintaining mine as at level thats not geat but it means as yet i dont need a tranplant.
what medication are you on for your iron?

to be on the safe side id go to your doctor and say its gone on for long enough its time they sorted it out.

let me know how you get on. good luck Smile
