Good News: Abortion is no longer needed - Why following Jesus Christ is the only way to end abortion

The ressurection of Jesus, the Ressurection of the dead....God breathes new life into man.... he is raised up, Just as Jesus is raised up. Our old life we shared with the Animals our new life we share with God.

Humanity takes on the divinity of Christ and the diginity and worth of Almighty God...so all human beings become one with Christ and share in the sacredness of almighty God.

We are given a new dignity/our dignity is RENEWED a divine dignity, our dignity is ressurected and brought to a new life in Christ and so what we do to the least of our brothers (humanity) we do unto Christ himself.

In Christ we share in such dignity and in sin we scandalize Christ and degrade ourselves, we abandon our divine dignity and are reduced to animalistic human nature which leads to the degrading of fellow human beings and a reduction of humanity once again to animal like status.

When we embrace Christ our human nature is humbled before God and we are raised up to a divine nature with Christ in a renewed life.

A Christian does not discriminate or persecute or reduce people to a less status of divine dignity, we recognise their worth as divine but do they themselves recognise that in themselves?

For example a Christian does not reduce a man who is attracted to other men to a less status of divine dignity and if he embraces Christ he humbles his human nature before God embraces his divine dignity.

But the man who rejects Christ and embraces his human nature. In his sin he abandons the dignity God has bestowed upon him and is given over to animalistic behaviour and becomes an enemy of God and of divine human dignity.

A woman Caught in lust for another man other than her husband who embraces Christ humbles her human nature before God and embraces her divine dignity.

However the woman who rejects god fails to recognise her divine dignity and becomes enflamed with passion and is given over to animalistic behaviour which leads her to her becoming an enemy of God and divine human dignity.

Just as the sexual act carried out in accord with Christ and with divine human dignity often becomes manifest in the flesh with the birth of a loved Child. So too the sexual act carried out in rejection of Christ and rejection of divine dignity often becomes manifest in the flesh with the abortion of a unwanted Child.

All these human beings the Man with an attraction to another man, the woman with lust for another man other than her husband and the unborn Child all share in the dignity of Christ, just as all of us share in this divine dignity too but not everyone recognises their own dignity or the dignity of others.

christians recognise our own dignity in Christ and we recognise in others their divine dignity in Christ also and moved by the love of God we want to help others discover their divine dignity and are compelled to defend those who for whatever reason are not being granted their divine dignity by others.

Just as God breathed life into Adam, the father of humanity

We were raised to a new life in Christ, he breathed a new life into us a renewed spiritual life we lost at the fall of humanity "he breathed on them and said recieve the holy spirit" he came so we could have life and life abundently, a divine life with him, a God who leads humanity to a culture of life

those who reject Christ do not embarce the new life and seek to destroy the life that is in others just as they saught to destroy the lifegiver on that fateful Good Friday, today we still face that same primary evil that crucified our lord, the same primary evil that leads humanity to a culture of death.

Think of a world where all mankind share in the dignity of god and recognise that

Then Think about the consiquences of mankind embracing sin... of mankind without divine dignity

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Satan was a lier and a murderer from the begining

each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON NOT TO CONDEMN THE WORLD BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM

Human beings in light of Christian understanding are not insignificant creatures. The christian understanding of Mankind is that because of Jesus Christ we share in the divinity of Christ and each one of us are deserving to the respect(not worship) that throughout history has been atributed to God..."We were raised to a new life." obviously such revereance for humanity leads to a "culture of life"

Of course this is only one side of Christianity that stems from faith in the other side the spiritual the heavenly. we are raised also to a new spiritual eternal life and we have actually recieved the Holy Spirit.

Just as Jesus is both God & Man, So Christianity is both heavenly & Earthly

Just as Jesus was God & man from his conception in Our ladies womb - This duality has also been a facit of Christianity since our very conception.

In fact many of the early converts to Christianity were rebuked by the apostles for ignoring/denying the spiritual aspects of Christianity.

1 Cor 15

"How can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised...... If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. "

Today the Church is urging the layity on in regards to the earthly side of Christianity because Christianity over recent years has in part somewhat abandoned that facit of Christianity and our hope in Christ is not just in the next life but is also in this life.

We have come full circle from the early christians, the circa 1500AD Idea of "faith alone" had no other option but to pull away from the earhtly aspect of Christianity... just as God became Man and Christianity is both Heavenly and Earthly so is salvation both Faith in the next life and Good works in this life... Amen!

thank you guest for your posts. I was watching the Passion movie the other day when jesus was all this beaten up, carrying the cross and mary goes to him horrified at was happening to him and he says to her " don't worry mom, I make everything new". And that's just how it is when one decides to follow god. It's like a new life.

I agree we shall not loose hope for the earthly life.

I am not .christian.
I do not follow .christian .doctrine and I deserve to not have it shoved down my throat.

You are extrmely ignorant in that you assume the only women who get abortions are women who are not christian or who don't "feel the love of jesus" in their hearts. In fact, since christianity is the dominant religion in america, most of them women who abort are aready christian. Clearly, the religion has no bearing on their desicion to abort.

Next: you are trying to use religion to control these women. You are trying to take away their rights. You are trying to guilt them into being breeding machines. You are trying to make them forget the last century of civil rights that women have attained.

Please take your religion out of this scientific debate. Formulate your own thoughts and your own feelings; don't depend on a book to tell you how to feel and act. Take responsibility for your actions; don't blame bad deeds on a "devil", but realise that it was your own choices that caused it. When you can do this, then suddenly all good human deeds mean even more!

We will respect people who have their own ideas; not those who are brainwashed into thinking that only one idea is the right solution.

Your Idea is you and humanity are worth nothing more than an animal and unborn children less than an animal so you act like an animal. i will not respect people for this but I will respect them for their divine dignity that they have even if they themselves dont want it.

But you also forget that it is not until you know the christian understanding that you can reject it or accept it.

you dont have to embrace the belief that every human being should have the same respect that is atributed to God, you are free to believe that we are mere animals and not worthy of such exahltation. But others are free to believe that each human being including ourselves are worthy of the highest respect and honor and not to be treated as peices of meat to be exploited and enslaved.

It would be good if this were a place for only scientific debate, since then all the philosophy of what constitutes personhood would be abandond and we would be only left with the true sicentific reallity that...

hey "guest" y dont you have a name it is free to come on here! anyhow it can be very offensive to put religous stuff on here! i so get what your saying but it cant be bothersome and it makes people feel very disrespected.. ironically im catholic`and understand you but others may not.. try taking the thoughts of jesus and interpreting it different.. i dont want to upset you because you do speak very strongly which is so great!! i just dont want someone to offend you in return!

Interesting post! Apparently some people are offended by the christian preaching, and that is their choice, if they dont like the fact there is christianity then maybe they should come up with some facts to disprove it instead of whinning about being preached to. But they would be wasting their time because there is nothing in science that disproves the existence of a god. Some would argue science does, but where is the solid facts, you cannot look at how things work to prove it because god said he is the one that created it in the first place, so its impossible using matierial evidence to disprove god. But go ahead and try if you want a scientific debate with science vs christianity. Use facts to support your answer not an opinion.

Unfortunately when you base your beliefs(or lack thereof) soley on science then you are in fact limiting yourself only to what you can prove/disprove. If you believe in science then you should check your facts;

Fact: No form of phorensic study and/or evaluation has been able to contradict a single event that took place in the bible...not one...100%, 10/10, batting 1000...well you get the idea Smile

Fact: The leading oposition to creationism is evolution...whos founding author denounced all of his theories and teachings. Smile

Fact: All respectable historians will use the bible as a roadmap to ancient timelines, none of them debate any of the stories that took place from Exodus clear to Jude. 64/66 or 97% is historicaly acurate according to modern historians.

Faith: Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary by imaculate conception, and is Gods only begotten(sp?) son, died on the cross to pay the blood sacrifice for the attonement of mans sin, in whom we have our eternal salvation and the promise of eternal life.

You can't argue faith...it's imposible, but if you only argue the facts any resonably unbiased and educated individual will come to the conclusion that the universe has come to be, is, and will be in existance because it was created.

This response is not one made in anger, nor is it one of pride. The hope is that by examining the facts the reader would search his/her heart w/o the blind fold of pride to seek the truth that will set you free.
