i have had unprotected sex with a couple of people and am worried i have got hiv. my symptoms started a couple of weeks back i nearly always feel tired, lost abit of weight (although i havnt really been eating properly) i now have a sore throat and mild aching. iam too scared to go to the doctors am i just been paranoid and it could just be a sore throat?

i know this may sound daft but does the male have to ejaculate to contract the virus?

thanks

No, the male does not have to ejaculate to contract HIV. No, you are not just being paranoid. If you have had unprotected sex with a couple of people, and if you aren't positive about their being HIV negative, then you certainly could be infected.

Never rely on symptoms alone. The symptoms for HIV are the same as symptoms of dozens of other things. The only way that you can be sure is to test.
