ok, so my guy wants to do it (in the bum). its like a huge turn on for him. i have never done it, and i am not sure if i want to. mostly because i don't know much about it, except that it will hurt. (and i am definitely not looking forward to that) i have heard that it can be really good and stuff. but what i want to know is: what happens after? i heard that you loose control over your bowel movements. is that true??? can it mess me up in there??? after all it is where you poop out of! does poo come out while your doing it? are there any health risks i should know about??? like long term problems or problems that can happen later on because of it??? i am very curious to know everything about it before i decide whether to do it or not. so please, any information is very appreciated.

Anal sex does not have to hurt any more than vaginal sex. It can be painless! The important part is preparation.

Afterwards, directly after when you hop into the bathroom for the first time, you may have a slightly looser or numb feeling, but you will nevr loose complete control. The only way this would happen were to be if you never had vaginal sex ever again and had losts of anal sex with very large toys lol.

Fecal matter does not come out while you do it because you prepare first. Here's a clue: if you feel like you need to poo, it's probably a bad time to have anal sex! Wait until after you've gone and you feel nice and empty.
You can have a preparatory shower and clean yourself - even inside if you wish with a gentle warm-water enema.

Anal sex is very enjoyable. The key is to go very, very slowly, use a lot of lube, and to prepare before hand by slowly stretching with larger and larger butt-plugs. I know, that sounds funny but I assure you that anal is a lot more enjoyable when you know how to relax your body. it's amazing!

To reiterate a lot of what eiri said, anal sex requires lubrication, preparation, and communication. Many people use an enema first. Also, you should probably have your partner use a finger or small toy on you first to get you relaxed and used to the feeling. It does not have to hurt. Some women love it, some don't care for it even if it doesn't hurt them.

It is safe unless you rush into without the lubrication and preparation. If you rush, then there actually is a chance that you'll tear a bit.

Also, be aware that, although it is rare, you can get pregnant from anal sex if the semen drips from your anus to your vagina. You can also get STDs. So you might want to use a condom.

eiri so do you enjoy anal sex a lot?

Bridget just try and see if you like it. If you don't like it, don't worry, many of us women don't like it. Fortunatetly my fiance doesn't like it either so we are both sexually compatible in that sense Very Happy (I actually like that his disgusted at anal sex because i know for sure he does not have any gay tendencies you know cause gays are the ones who like to do it on the bum bum..yikes!)

No fool.

Not only was she offensive, close-minded, ignorant and stupid in her comments, she insulted both me and my boyfriend. This isn't the first time she's done this either.

I do not consider anal sex to be a "signal" that someone has "gay tendancies". That's really idiodic, and only a homphobe like nightangel would ever think that. I am actually substantiated in calling her that; she's proven herself to be one and she doesn't hide from this aspect of herself.

Do I like anal sex? Yes. I've only had it once however. Does my boyfriend like anal sex? Yes.

I've kissed a girl before, yet I don't consider myself bisexual. I also have no probem with bisexuality or homosexuality.

So before any of you go assuming anything, maybe you should get the full story. I mean, god!

How completely offensive this is!!! I can't believe anyone would believe the above comment. Honestly, only someone who lives under a rock or is brainwashed belives that crap.

Good lord nightangel... are you really *that* close-minded?

I honestly don't have anything to say. You're the most ignorant and naive person i've come across in a long time.

**let Me Just Say
Anal sex isn't for everyone. I personally like it. It doesn't mean that the guy that i am with is gay or anything like that. (ahem!!)

If your bf is attentive to your needs than it can be a wonderful thing. I am hoping that you and your boyfriend have an open mind. being clean is the key, you can do and enema and that way you will know that there shouldn't be anything left in there. you know?

Make it fun, not a chore, don't go into it like it's something that is going to be painful and dirty. It can be great and clean depending on the things you do before hand. Have him use his fingers first to prepair you, using lube (lots of it) of course. And let him know that he has to go at your pace, maybe even let you back up onto it....or even you on top so that you controle to depth at first.

Yes sometimes the skin between the vigina and the anus can be ripped...but it doesn't happen normally. So it is safe....as long as you both listen to each other.

Ok have fun, oh and remember that going front to back is fine but going back to front is not good.....leaves the door open for infections in your main little kitten....

God, last I checked this was a place to be open minded and give/seek advice for people not directly attack or insult anyone. I myself don't personally like anal sex but it's not that bad and it certainly doesn't mean someone has gay tendencies. That's a very arrogant thing to say, there's nothing wrong with enjoying anal sex .. lord.

Most people in here can't see beyond what they believe is true and for that they get stabbed verbaly. I think it's wrong for people to call other people offensive, close-minded, ignorant and stupid, or an idoit, weather or not they are. Please people grow up. It's not right to call people, substantiated or not, names or label them.
