Q: Stunted Growth?
asked by: RupTureDIdenTitY on August 28th, 2003

I had my left testicle removed when I was about 4 and now that im 17 and seeing my friends shoot up around me, I was wondering if only having one testicle would stunt my growth, if my body's not producing enough testosterone than it needs to be. I dont have any idea on this so any response would be grateful, thanks

I'm pretty sure that that has nothing to do with your physical growth. Maybe in a bizarre case, but I know some really big and tough guys with the same situation of whom I never hear complaints.

I agree with patrick, I don't think that should affect your growth. Usually that is determined by genetics (parents and grandaprents)...Are your parents tall? Short? Late bloomers? These things all come into play.

Don't worry. Smile
