Hello,

I've been on Yasmine for 3 and a 1/2 months now. I've put on 8 pounds and I'm very emotional. I work out and eat right, but it's not helping get the weight off. I'm wondering if I should stay on it for another month or two and see if it levels out and I can lose the weight, or if I should stop taking them now. My boyfriend if fine with going back to using condoms if I feel better off the pill. Any suggestions or help is really appreciated.

By 3-4 months you've pretty much experienced all the side effects you're going to feel, and they should be going away by now. if they're not, then perhaps this particular pill brand is not right for you. You should talk to your doctor about switching brands. DOn't give up on the pill just yet!
