Q: I Had a Miscarriage Four Weeks, My Breasts Hurt Still

I had a miscarriage four weeks ago and every week my breasts become more and more sore. It's not like a period starting, it is like they were when I was pregnant. I was only five weeks when I miscarried. Is this normal?

It seems unusual to me that your breasts would still hurt 4 weeks after miscarrying, especially since your were only 5 weeks along at the time. Maybe your hormones are still adjusting. If there is a possibility that you could be pregnant again, then I would take another test. If you are not pregnant and the issue persists, then I would talk to your Dr.

I took a pregnancy test a few days ago and it was negative. I'm not sure what to do next because I had just went to the doctor last week and they said everything was normal after the miscarriage. Now, almost five weeks later my breasts are still killing me. But, I really appreciate your reply. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thanks!!!!
