I was reading some post about charting your periods, and I want to try it. The only problem is my period is so irregular. Would it still work? My periods vary from on time to sometimes 3 weeks late. Rolling Eyes

Many women chart that are irregular. Because you are irregular you are probably only quessing as to when you are ovulating. When you chart you will have a better idea of when you are/have ovulated. It is a great aid while ttc or natural family planning. Are you ttc?

I suggest that you join a charting site. I know that fertility friend is a popular one. Many of the ladies in the "getting pregnant" forum use this site. If you ever have any questions regarding your chart the women here are pros and will probably be able to help! I'm sure you will like this forum. All of the ladies here are very kind and knowledgeable.

I feel you with the being irregular thing. I recently went of birth control and am still trying to get into the swing of things. My first cycle was 8 days. My last one was 10 days. I am currently bleeding. I figure if I continue on this schedule I will be regular by the time I'm 80 Rolling Eyes . So your not alone!

Well I joined awhile ago, when I had a cyst on my ovary. Almost a year ago I believe. I got addicted Surprised and the guy I was with at the time didn't like it very much. So I quit posting and reading. But I am back now Smile

It sucks having irregular periods. Mad After the cyst I had last year ruptured on my ovary.. the doctor put me on birthcontrol, and I wound up preggy from it, and miscarried. but I am hoping everything goes great and I get a BFP soon. My husband and me want to have a baby so bad!

I had very irregular periods and yet I still charted. I think that charting is the reason that I am pregnant. It takes a few months to get into the routine though so don't expect pregnancy right away. It still took me 10 months of ttc. Good luck!

Thanks!

Yeah I really don't expect to get pregnant right away. I've tried to explain that to my husband lol but he believes it'll happen pretty fast. Maybe so, we'll see.

Wow ten months. I bet you were happy when you finally got a positive. Very Happy How far along are you now?

We were very excited. For some though it takes longer. I am now 19 weeks along and doing great. We are having a boy so now I am getting all ready for him.

Yep, his name is .Luke .Daniel. My mother-in-law had 3 boys and one girl so it didn't surprise me that he was a boy.
