I have generalized Anxiety Disorder. I was simply on Zoloft for minor anxiety and then my life spun out of control and stressors have caused more anxiety. My Dr. has prescribed Cymbalta. Every muscle in my arm and shoulders are tense. My left eyelid flickers, I have headaches, I wake up with jaw aches from grinding my teeth. My question is, the zoloft keeps me calm enough on outside apearances, but, on the inside I am a total tension filled mess. Could I just increase the Zoloft...or should I switch to Cymbalta, would that help me with the pain that the tension is causing?

I am weening myself off of Zolft now for the next 2 weeks.

Everything I am reading about Cymbalta is a bit alarming. That is why I am second guessing the Dr.'s reccomendation to go on Cymbalta in the first place.

thanks!
