Hi all -

I am only ortho-tricyclen lo. I was a little early/late with my pills at the beginning of the pack and ended up changing the I take them because it was more convenient for me remembering. I started the new pack on March 11th (my period had stopped on the 10th) but I was out of town so I did not start having sex regularly again until the 17th.

I am due to finish my active pills this sunday, meaning that I would usually start my period sometime early next week. However, I had spotting this past Wednesday and Thursday (the 28th and 29th). I am worried that this is implantation bleeding and not just an early period, because the bleeding is light.

My boyfriend and I always use condoms, but sometimes after sex he "dips" in a few times before putting one on.

Do you think that I am just having an early, irregular period because of my inconsistency with the pills? Or does this sound like something *Else*?

Honestly, it should just be caused by the inconsistancy. Most women don't get implantation bleeding. If your period is abnormal this month, go ahead and buy a test just for your own peace of mind! I'd say that you are most likely not pregnant.
