Do you feel like me that the voices are comforting and reasuring?
And maybe you feel that you are over-medicated?

My son reported one evil voice that said horrid things to him and told him to do things he knew where wrong. Another voice told him how good he was and told him not to listen to the other voice. The voices would argue and fight with each other.

He was not over medicated. When his medication dose was increased the voices went away.

He misses the good voice but is relieved to not hear the evil voice.

I don't hear voices other then my inner voice, I have trouble with racing thoughts and they are down on me, always reminding me of my flaws. I constantly remind myself that I am not a very good person.

I keep the TV on all day and night just to keep the inner voice away. I don't want bad thoughts.

I am on Geodone, but diagnosed with Bipolar I.

That sounds just like my son. How old is your son? When did this start? My son is 11 and I am so worried and confused.

Don't reduce or stop you medication, talk to your Doctor
My father hears voices but he has said that they are always there and loud during the times that he has chosen to decrease or stop his medication. He has done this because he tought that he was over medicated but he realised for himself that he needs the medication because the voices confuse him and do not allow him to do other things that he likes or to have contact with his family and the one friend that he has. My father now realises that his medication helps him feel less stressed and upset because he doesn't have to struggle with the good voice and the bad voice that always fight. He also realises that his medication is just like the medication my mother takes for her diabetes and the medication i take for my sore back. Now that he takes his medication properly we have my father back again, he even smiles instead of starring remember that there is always someone that you can have a talk to so that you can tell them how you are feeling you are never alone and if you feel that you don't have anyone close to you call the help line they are often volunteers and they really want to talk to you to help you talk about your feelings.
