Q: Vaginal discharge: a sign of pregnancy?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 28th, 2007
Hi.How are you?
Well my period is late and i've been getting this creamy discharge for about 2 weeks now. It doesnt smell or itch. I've been feeling good except maybe waking up with a headache today. Can this be a sign of pregnancy?

Vaginal discharge is not a sign of pregnancy but could be due to cervicitis. A headache is definitely not a sign of pregnancy. A late period is the first serious sign of pregnancy but it is not always sure. The persistance of a functional ovarian cyst may also cause a menstrual period to delay. Only a positive pregnancy test can truly indicate pregnancy. If the urine test is inconclusive, you can next request a blood pregnancy test.
