Thanks for the reply, I have asked my spine surgeon and he said it would be fine to get pregnant after a year. I'm just a little leary about it. How are you doing? I'm doing pretty good every day i get better, started out with a walker, now I'm walking up & down stairs with no problem. I had a great doctor from Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge Chicago.[/quote]
That makes sense, seeing as they look at a year as the turning point. Steps huh? Thats great! I don't have steps in my home, but I did go visit work recently and found it to be a little tough. Let alone to do it 10 times a day

I am doing well. I had some nerve issues along with things so that is getting back on track. Everything had started to wrap itself around my spinal column, so I am glad that is over. They also did a monitor with a muscle monitor. I have some pain left over from that, but they think that the PT will help. Are you in a brace? I have mine until May. I am looking to be a mom at some point as well, so your question hit home....
I had a good dr. as well, in Milwaukee. Glad to hear you are doing so great!
