For me, tonight was a slack dinner night. I had chili for my lunch today, and it gave me super bad heartburn, so I really wasn't hungry tonight. And .Mike worked late. All we had were grilled cheese sandwiches and potato chips Embarassed Sorry .I'm no help in the culinary department tonight!!

i hate peppers and onions.

i'll eat cooked red peppers if they're chopped up really small and mixed into something.

I made meatloaf with my special jacket/baked potato.

that means it was super unhealthy Embarassed
I chop up some bacon rashers and a medium onion and dry fry together in a frying pan/skillet.
keep draining off the liquid that comes out the bacon.
then I pour a measure of jack daniels over it and flick the pan so that the alcohol sets alight Laughing (I have a gas stove this won't work on electric lol)
once the alcohol has burnt off (leaves the flavour) then I pour over the same quantity of maple syrup and mix it in.

for steve I quarter some button- or small closed cup- mushrooms and cook them with a small knob of butter and a crushed clove of garlic and cook over low heat until it saute's down.

then I cut the potatoes open spoon in the bacon mixture, add the mushrooms for Steve and some sour cream for me, top with a small handful of shredded mozzarella and serve with a couple slices meatloaf.

yummy but oh so bad Rolling Eyes

i made barbequed chicken last night with barbeque sauce, sauteed mushrooms and green pepper and mixed it with the rice, seasoned it with onion and garlic powder, then made biscuits, the chicken sucked though i bought the wrong kind so it didnt turn out as good as i thought but eh it was ok then i just made biscuits. I made a salad for tonight but i dont know what im cooking or if i will, i might just have salad tonight for dinner and make joseph something different .
