I read in my pregnancy book that itchyness is common during pregnanct due to skin stretching and increased blood flow to the skin. I itch my legs so much that i've made them bleed, did anybody else get this bad?

i didn't get itchy until after i'd given birth. i'm wondering if i had pupps but i never went to the doctor for it so who knows. i would scratch my thighs until i drew blood, my stomach, butt cheeks, and lower back were all tremendously itchy as well. it was horrible.

i don't really have any recommendations other that lubing up regularly with lotion.

I soaked two towels in freezing water and wrapped my legs in them at 2am this morning because it got so bad! I've heard that itchy palms and soles of feet can point towards a rare liver problem but it's only my arms and legs. it's driving me mad!

I read somewhere that for itchy stretchmarks use aloe-vera because its an anti itch lotion. So I guess it would work for arms and legs too, and lotions with aloe vera are easy to find and smell well yummy!!!

I'm 28 weeks tommorow! I called the midwife about this and because a few people in my family have had the liver problem which itching is a symptom of they need to do an extra bile of blood at my next appointment to rule it out. My poor little lady first being told she's too small and now i may have a liver problem *sighs*
