Q: New Glasses Seem Worse Than My Old...

Not sure what to think about this, I went and got my eyes checked at one eye office, but I didn't liek any of the frames they had so I got the frames (and the lenses) filled somewhere else. Basically, I put on my new glasses and now my vision seems WORSE than with my old ones. The doctor keeps telling me that with a perscription as sharp as mine, a new pair of glasses can take a week or two to get used to however.

However, I don't remember EVER having this problem before (and considering i usually need to get new glasses every year or two, I think I'd remember). So, what I want to know is, it is NORMAL for my vision to seem worse with a new pair of glasses for awhile, till my eyes get used to them? Or did someone mess up on something somwhere?

I'm worried I should have just saved the 400 bucks and stuck with my old, supposedly outdate glasses, these new ones are giving me a headache! It's only day one and I'm not sure I can last a whole week with these damn things...

Sad
