I'm confused...did she end up with a positive on a test or is she just having spotting (which may or may not be pregnancy related)?

Yes, if she's pregnant, the baby could be yours. If you had sex right around the time she ovulated, there's a good chance she could be pregnant with your baby. For most women, ovulation occurs about 2 weeks into their cycle--if they have the textbook 28 day cycle (few women do but many are similar), they ovulate around cycle day 14 and have a period around day 28.

It sounds like you tested too early. You have to give the body a few days. Test again when her next period is due, or keep your appointment for the blood test.

you're too early to test, it wont be until around 14days after the 'time of conception' that a hpt will show a positive result.

Did you use any contraception? Is she trying to get pregnant?

If the condom didn't break or slip then it's very unlikely that she will be pregnant.

If you are worried about this happening again maybe see if she can go on another method of bc as well as using condoms so that you guys feel more 'safe'
