I'm 24 amd about more than a month ago I
had sex with my boyfriend,,we didn't use
protection the first time and it was
extremely painful and I was bleeding like
if it was my first time though it wasn't.
About two days later I developed what i
thought was a yeast infection but due to
the bleeding that wouldn't stop I decided
to go see a doctor who diagnosed me with a
UTI and put me on antibiotics. The
problem is two days later I got a painful
blister like sore on my left butt cheek
and the UTI symptoms were not going away,
so I went back to the doctor and he simply
changed my anit biotics and said I had a
bladder infection. I had really bad pelvic
and leg pain on my left side and the
symptoms just fully went away now after
like six weeks. I am worried what I have
is Herpes because of the blister and the
pelvic pain. Is it def that or can it be a
UTI?? please help

I'm sorry, but we just can't diagnose
people over the internet. Some people may
be able to lend you some advice, but I
think most of us are going to keep
advising you go to doctors until they know
what happened to you.

Agreed. Your best bet is to just keep
seeing the doctor. If you want a second
opinion, see another doctor. They would
be able to tell you what is going on far
better than we would.

Yeah, going to the doctor it's definately
the best solution. But what you're
describing really doesn't sound like
herpes. I'm no doctor so please don't take
try to diagnose yourself with what i'm
telling you. But awhile back I thought I
had herpes so I went to planned parenthood
to get checked and they just looked at me
and could tell it was just a yeast
infection. The doctors told me that any
medical professional could look at you and
tell if it was any sort of STD unless the
symptoms are very strange, which is rare.
I'm no professional or doctor or anything
and I do recommend you keep going to the
doctor but what you're describing doesn't
sound at all like herpes. Especially since
if it was herpes, it usually goes away in
4-10 days. 6 weeks is a pretty long time,
I think you just had a uti.
