Yeast infections are like any other bug/virus/infection some people are more likely to get them or to get certain ones.

For example, from what I know texas is hot so if you wear anything but 100% cotton underpants(even for some people jeans/trousers etc) you may find that you are one of the many people who are prone to yeart infections for this reason. Or you might try a different washing powder, maybe a liquid? Or if you work in/with sand/dust/grass these could work their way in where they're not wanted & hence the infections.

As to cures, try bathes with some apple cider vinegar in them & wash your private parts out thoroughly swishing the water through for as long as you like. Or we use a ream called aristocort (on prescription) or others over the counter.
