So I know that babies are to sleep on their backs to reduce SIDs but I was wondering if there is like a magic age when it starts to be okay for them to sleep on their tummy. Brayden falls asleep so easily on his tummy so during the day we let him sleep like that because I can constantly check on him but at night its a challege to get him to sleep on his back. Anyone know when the risks of sids declines?

*edit because I'm a dork that can't type!

when they start rolling over. in that case, you cant get them to stay on their back. they almost always will go onto their tummies.
