Hello, I am new to posting. I read some of
the posts on here and just wanted some
feedback. My husband and I have decided
that we would like to start our journey to
parenthood. I got off the pill in nov. I
thought I was pregnant once since nov, but
I was still adjusting to being off of the
pill. I am still trying to get my cycle
figured out, but not always so easy. I
think I narrowed my fertile days this
month. If I am correct it was 10-14. We
tried the 11-13th. I am not expecting my
af until the 28th, but like I said... Im
still trying to get the cycle days correct
since being off the pill. Ok... So here it
is I have been feeling very light cramps
since the 19th on and off. Tonight I have
been feeling light headed and I feel a
flutter feeling in my lower abdomen. My
lower back has been bothering me quite a
bit. The problem is I also have a cold so
its hard to tell whats what. Something
just feels different. I havent had any
soreness in my bb, but then again I
usually dont during pms anyway. Honestly I
dont usually feel anything before pms but
a small amount of cramping a few days
before. Sorry this is a novel, but I also
feel like its just wishful thinking and
this head cold has taken over whatever it
is I am feeling. I know its too early to
test... It just sucks not knowing.

Welcome to this forum. Everyone here is
very nice and helpful. So, this is an
exciting journey for you and I wish you
luck and success. From what you are
describing, it sounds like the flue but
you never know. With the cramping, that
might be implantation pains. Every woman
experiences different symptoms. Keep
yourself busy and wait til you are late on
your af to test, especially if you dont
want to be dissapointed. Think good
thoughts and keep us posted.

Welcome to the forum.
The good news: some women have had unusual
light cramping before getting a bfp.
Sometimes just feeling different is all
you get. My sister's said she just felt
different. Plus, like Negar said,
everyone has different symptoms.
The bad news: when you ttc, you like to
interpret anything unusual that occurs
before af is expected. So, it could be
just wishful thinking. I hope it's not,
but it could be. Everyone on this forum
has probably done it before.
I had that fluttering feeling once as
well. I got it for several weeks - before
and after af. I never figured out what it
was, but I suspect that it was muscular.
It didn't hurt, so it wasn't a spasm so
I'll call it a twitch. It was probably a
muscle twitch in my lower left abdominal
muscle. When it went away, I got a twitch
in another muscle for a couple days. I'm
not sure what caused it. I didn't have
the flu at the time, but that might be
your culprit. The flu can give you muscle
aches and pains, so muscle twitches don't
seem out of the realm of possibilities.

Hi there welcome to the forum, I am sure
your going to love it here.
Well in you case it could very well could
be the flu as other girls said, but you
never know.
This month i really gave up hope thinking
that af was coming cuz i was having this
bad cramps all the time even before af was
due- but it was a BIG FAT POSITIVE .
So you never know, though every woman is
different.
I wish you nothing but BFP & good
luck.

Wishful Thinking Posted: 03-24-07 09:43am
thanks ladies. Its nice to have some
support and know there are others out
there. I am going to the doctor today
(well promt care) because I think my head
cold has turned into a sinus infection. I
also need to have a physical done for
work. Part of me wants to ask them to do a
blood test, but the other part says ehh...
its just the illness. So I dont think I am
going to get one. I will wait for AF. I
might mention something to the doctor,
only because I am worried if he prescribes
something it may or may not be safe for
women who are pregnant. One way or another
I am going to just assume that we will try
again next month.
