Hello Ladies, I'm home. I couldn't stand being in hospital anymore so I was really motivated to get moving. The hospital was crazy busy and my room mate snored, she liked the heat on 120 degrees, and basically that part sucked.

.Jaylon .Thomas was born at 9:38am on 3/21/07. He weighed 7lbs and 8 oz. He was 20 inches long.

I really don't have an interesting story to tell. I had a scheduled c-section. The spinal absolutely sucked. I don't remember it being that painful. I cried so bad, .Mike thought they were killing me. The operation went very well. I had my tubes tied while I was right there. The whole thing is so overwhelming. I will be a picture prostitute and get more out soon.

He's a really good baby. We are working on nursing, which is a challenge, but seems to be going good. I am absolutely, full heartedely in love with him.
I feel great! Of course they have you on the good stuff to keep you comfortable, but I'm really not even using it here.
we brought him home in this outfit. He's like I'm too cool for my shirt!!! LOL

this is .Jaylon and his daddy

This is the hospital's website. His pic is on there. If you check out the whole site, the baby girl next to him "Abigail Jane" was our room mate. She is a doll, and yes her mom snores!!! lol

He's an alert little guy! Look at those eyes! Shocked

.i'm so glad things went well! Boo on your roommate though - I would have told her to grab another blanket and stop messing with the thermostat. I probably would have let her know she snores, too. "get one of those nose strip things because you're bothering me, lady." Laughing

yay for nursing Mr. Green good luck! and keep us updated with lots of pictures!

He's very alert. When he wants or needs something we know it. Sometimes after nursing he just lays there and stares at me. My daughter is so good with him. She is very protective, and I thought she was going to kill the peditrician who came in to check him over. She's going to be a huge help. Mike's girl, .Kaylee who is almost 7 is also very happy to have a baby brother.

They were doing lots of work on the floors at the hospital, so they had everyone rooming together. I didn't mind it that bad. The room was really small to have 2 women who had just had c-sections, 2 babies, 2 dads, and of course tons of family and tons of stuff. We would both roast our a$$es off at night. Partly fluids, partly meds, but mostly because the heat was set on 100. If the room had been a bit bigger it would have been easier.

The hippo outfit belonged to the hospital. I had a girl the first time around, and don't have a heck of a lot of experience with boys, so when I changed him it was like old faithful Shocked , so I went through my outfits. They also prefered if the clothes had feet so they could check name tags. There were 3 .Smith babies born on the same day. I really loved the hippos though, so I didnt mind using it. It was a .Carters.

Thanks for all your kind words. I will post more pics once they are off the camera.

And thats cool that you got to dress him in his clothes (well until you ran out) because my hospital made us use their baby clothes until it was time to go home!
