Q: Loss of Pigment On Genitals

About a few months ago I noticed two small white spots on my penis, one on the shaft and the other on the glans. They are about the size of a nickel and do not itch, have bumps, and are not painful in any way. I have tried to research different skin conditions but every one i see seems way too severe and widespread for what I am noticing. Does anyone have any ideas or advice? I am 18 and sexually active (with protection) with only one partner. Should I be worried?

it sounds like loss of pigment to me. I have it not only on my shaft but on my hands, mainly by my thumbs. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

it's actually to be expected that you have lighter skin on your palms of your hands, under your feet and on genitals. That's just biology and nothing to be worried about.
I would however, ask a professional if it was all of a sudden and very noticeable...that seems a little odd.

Possible Cause
check into 'vitaligo' (I think that spelling is right) I have a couple of those very light spots, the skin is slightly less elastic and I think slightly less sensitive but my dr. assured me it is psychologic. nothing to be done and somewhat common he said. but see a dermatologist or a urologist for sure. the dermatologist would be a better choice IMO.
