Q: Am I Pregnant

I had unprotected sex a few times right around the time I was supposed to ovulate. And now I have been feeling hungry all the time, really tired, having to go to the bathroom alot, gaining weight, tender breasts, backaches, headaches, and food cravings. Today i got my period but i am still having these symptoms. Does this mean I could be pregnant?

have you missed a period?

the only way you'd know if you were pregnant, for sure, is if you take a test. a home pregnancy test works best if used the first day of your missed period or any day after that. there are tests that work earlier, but they might not yield an accurate result since your body, if you are pregnant, isn't producing enough of the pregnancy hormone hCG.

i'm 9-weeks pregnant. and before taking a home pregnancy test, i had next to no symptoms. even now, my symptoms aren't major.

if you think you might be pregnant or feel there is a chance you could be, you might be fooling your body into acting the way a pregnant woman's does. i would say wait until your period comes or doesn't come & take a test.

good luck.

I already answered this exact question you asked.

These 'symptoms' can be attributed to pms. Symptoms do not mean you are pregnant. Most women don't gain weight in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Breasts usually don't become tender until your missed period. As well as headaches, backaches, frequent urination, etc. Those don't happen for awhile.

If you continue to feel you are pregnant, see your doctor.
