I just ran across a bunch of .adriana's doctor appointment summaries, so I decided to post this and see how she's progressed.

Birth 3/13/06: 9lbs. 2oz and 21 1/2 inches long.
4/14/06: 10lbs 4oz, 21 1/2 long
7/17/06 (4mos): 15lbs. 8oz. and 25 long
9/18/06 (6mos):19lbs even and 27 long
and hmmmmm, I seem to be missing some of the papers......but now she is 1 year old and weighs 22lbs 14oz and is 29 3/4 long.

What about all your little ones, I'm curious to see their growth too!

3 days old...getting ready to leave the hospital

Last night...1 year old.

i'm still waiting for my newborn adriana pic!

you just made me realize i should be keeping track of this stuff... i remember finn's weight from all his appointments but not the length, i'm sure i posted his stats though so i'm going to try to find them so i can document them somewhere.

birth- 8 lbs 5 oz, 20 1/2 inches
5w 3d- 11 lbs 5 oz, 22 1/2 inches
2 1/2 months exactly- 14 lbs 8 oz, 25 inches
4 1/2 months- 18 lbs 7 oz, 27 inches

edit: good thing i posted his stats, i found them!

here are some comparison pics...

5 days old!

Eeeeeek, I know! I've been searching online for days trying to find her hospital pic....and today (I was just talking to .Terra about this! LOL) I found the site, but I don't have the password. Soooooo, I have to sort pictures later and put them in albums, so I'll snatch one n' scan it quick.

Aww all the babies are getting so big Sad

I can't compare .Jenny's length measurements because they've only measured her once.. it's so random the way they do it round here. But I can compare her weight..

At birth: 5lbs 1oz
2 weeks: 5lbs 5oz
3 weeks: 5lbs 14oz
4 weeks: 6lbs 11oz
5 weeks: 7lbs 7oz
7 weeks: 8lbs 5oz
9 weeks: 8lbs 14oz
10 weeks: 9lbs 5oz
15 weeks: 10lbs 14oz

Oh and I feel like comparing pics too!

The day she was born (my fav newborn pic)

And one to show how small she was

Aaaand now at 4 months

zanny, do all babies there go to the doctor that frequently or is it because jenny was born so small?

seeing pics so often you don't realize how big they're getting. i always saw jenny's pics and thought she was still so tiny but seeing her then and now, there's a *huge* difference! i love her newborn pics, she was such a tiny little peanut.

i love seeing the comparison pics! i hope more people post!

I had to search through all of my old posts to find these!! Shocked I need to start keeping track...

Birth: 8 lbs 6 oz, 21 inches
2 months: 14 lbs 7 oz, Couldn't find length!
4 months: 18 lbs, 27 inches
6 months: 20 lbs 9 oz, 27 3/4 inches
9 months: 24 lbs 8 oz, 31 inches

He's 10 months and 10 days old now and he doesn't have another appointment until he's a year old. I'm pretty sure he's gotten taller though. Here are a couple comparison pictures!!

i don't have any good birth pics either and it makes me so upset. nick can't take a picture to save his life and on top of that he didn't use the flash because he thought it would hurt finn's eyes.

Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

all finn's birth pics look like this...

(first bath- 15 minutes old)

this one isn't *terrible* because luckily we were under the bright lights of the operating room...

next time i'm reminding him a million times to use the flash and that it doesn't bother their eyes, which they'll most likely have closed anyway.

The midwife comes to visit the day after you get home from the hospital, and then a few days after that, and then keeps visiting until she's happy with the baby's weight gain. Then you can take them to a baby clinic in your area each week and have them weighed. I used to take her every week, but I keep forgetting to now!
