yeah, i don't know why people would need to research this to know this. just seems like cultural bias to me. i don't tell ppl here what i feed chu because i don't want ppl jumping me with crap. Chu eats and has been eating whatever we eat. Just chopped or mashed up. He really loves spaghetti, chicken tacos and tostones. If we make something spicy I tone it down for him but he likes black pepper, chili powder and lots of lemon so if i'm using those, I don't take it out of his. oh and cinnamon toast!

i plan on using the jarred baby food to start just because it's easy and convenient, but once finn can handle table food he'll be eating whatever we're eating for the most part.

in south africa we give babies a herbal tea (caffienne free) from birth. it helps with digestive problems and colic too.

rowan get's it, but i don't bother telling people because people seem to think it's ridiculous just because they haven't heard of it.

it's called rooibos by the way. and it's good for you.

Kay I always planned on feeding any child of mine our food just all mushed up (but mushed less and less as they get older).

Obviously I'd mush up fruits and veggies early on but you know what I mean.

my entire family on maternal and paternal family have been bought up that way.
back then that was the only way lol.

I remember clearly being 18 months-2 years old and my nan cutting my portion of their food into small pieces for me

I've got a box of that in my cupboard. I love it! Maybe i'll give chu a tiny bit today to see if he likes it.
