Well, it's most important to make love during the time she's ovulating, which is about 14 days before her next period is due. During this time, the egg is released from the ovaries and can be fertilized. If her menstrual period is regular, you can predict the date range and have sex 2-3 times per day 2 days before and 2 days after she would ovulate.

her period start from 25th of every month and remains for abt 29-30 days.so what would be the ovulating time???i guess 9th and 10th of the next month....???

Well, be careful with counting....most months are not 28 days long.

So, let's say that she bleeds on March 25th....that means that she'll bleed again between April 22-24. Subtract 14 days, and you should really aim for sex from April 6 - April 12....that's a long time, but I'm sure you kids can have fun...

Also, for an element of intention, maybe you could try meditating together or praying together, if that's your thing...before you perform the act. Not sure if you're into it, but it could also help.

It is not better to have sex 2 to 3 times a day while trying to conceive. You are not allowing the sperm to become fully mature. So really it would be detrimental to you because the fully mature sperm have the best chance with meeting up with the egg. Smaller weaker sperm will not have such a good chance.



Does she really bleed for 29 or 30 days, or are you saying that is her cycle length? If she knows when she will be starting her period then just count back 14 days.

sorry i typed wrong...her cycle period is 29-30 days. normaly her period continue from 6 to 7 days. so would u think i sould make love from april 6 to 12. should i make love daily in this period or the alternate days.

It is also important to try to predict ovulation. Doctors often suggest using an ovulation predictor kit, which is essentially a bunch of test strips for you wife to pee on once a day. It will be positive a day or two before ovulation. The problem is that you are supposed to be bding before the positive test result, so you'll still have to figure out when to start.

The earliest sign is cervical mucus. At the start of the cycle, the cm camps in the cervix and keeps sperm from entering the uteris. It changes from hostile to sperm to a nutrient base for sperm and starts to fill the vagina as ovulation approaches. The best cm for sperm comes at the most fertile point in the month and the cm is said to have an "egg-white" conistency. The consistency is similar to semen but it is clear. It takes several months of looking for it to recognize it.

The every other day advise is good advise during the middle of the cycle; however, take it one more step, do not wear any drawers/underwear during the time period starting about two weeks before. This advise is for you not her. Briefs, if you wear them, pull the family jewels up too close to the body and keeps them too warm, thereby, lowering the swimmer count...boxers are better but none is even better don't wear tight jeans, the same thing happens. Swing free and loose for two weeks ahead of the big launch date, then like already advised, do not fire all your warheads at one time. 2 or 3 per day, every other day is a lot better plan. If both of you need to loose a few pounds, now is the best time. Studies have shown that it is easier to conceive while both of you are losing weight...not starving, but slightly hungry. Also no B.J.'s, all baby-batter must go in the same orifice or it doesn't count. Now, git'ter done!

Yes, it's fine as long as you are both physically comfortable. Now, since you aren't trying to build up mature sperm, the frequency doesn't matter.
