Q: Headache & neck pain
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 21st, 2007
I've been having pains around my hairline area (on the right side) and the back of my head which is off and on and sometimes radiates towards differents parts of my head. I recieved a CAT scan which came out negative about 3 weeks ago because I've been experiencing headaches a lot. My eyes seem to be dilated every time I look in the mirror also. The pain lately has been increased when I move around my neck which didn't bring on much pain before. Thank you for your feedback.

One thing seems certain: you probably aren't experiencing a brain tumor because a CT-scan would have showed it. There are many reasons and possible causes for a headache, including anxiety. You already have been diagnosed with a type of anxiety disorder: obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Pupils dilate when weak or low light enters the eyes. The eyes’ pupils then get narrow when a stronger light enters them.
You might request temporary painkillers for the headaches and continue visiting your psychiatrist to seek possible solutions.
