My wife has irregular periods - (she gets it every month but few days early or late and not on a fixed date.) We are married for a year now and have been trying for a baby, but still not successful. Both of us went through many tests and found that both of us are normal.

She has some more problems as well, i wonder whether that has anything to do with her pregnancy. If she sleeps late or eats late she gets sour vomiting, very bad migrain, feels exhausted, and suffers very badly the next whole day. She is a good natured person but she loses her temper very quickly and says she is not able to control it and often in a depressed mood.

We consulted a gastroenterologist and found that she has mild inflammation in the lower part of the stomach. And in her tests she found that her haemoglobin was less and other tests including thyroid were perfect. She took medicine for over a month but not sign of improvement in her vomitting. But her haemoglobin came to normal during that period though.

She has got pimples in her face in the last few years and she had never had it before (she is now 29yrs old). She also has facial hair in the chin areas. She has got a little overweight in the last couple of years. I am wondering whether she has any hormone imbalance problem or PCOS.

Please suggest whom we shall consult for further medication. Thanks.

Sounds like pcos to me, but I don't know, because I don't have it. It just sounds like the symptoms.

I have PCOS and it does sound like it is a possibility. You said she has had tests. What all has been checked?
